Back into the world of business databases

I havent followed the last post too tightly but thought I would see what academic papers I could find that would support my ideas of Web Tech providing a competitive advantage. I have started with some of Porters as per the other HBR and gone forth to see what more recent work I can find. Again im finding it slightly limited and its difficult without much guidance but hopefully its coming together… at least a little bit.
