A path to electronic mediums and business challenges

After looking into what / how / where i can complete my dissertation the most obvis route seems to be looking into how websites are used within the context of the business. After some pondering this week I think that the best way to look at this is to see how web activity adds value to the business and how it can be incorporated into standard practice.

This is probably way off context but it seems really interesting so I think that I am going to look into it and see where it takes me. My other pet interest would be to look at the impact of Open Source technology and if this is a good bad thing for business but I am worried that I am not able to make an MBA dissertation out of it. But it would give me more of a reason to finish off about 3 books on my desk and that can only be a good thing… hmm.
